Interests: I am an avid reader who will happily pick up a book on nearly any topic, from historical nonfiction to as fantastically science-fiction as one can get. I enjoy video games, movies, my birds, and RPGs.
Why Dragons and Parrots? To be honest, dragons are a bit like birds to me. I never did like the heavy, lumbering images a lot of dragons. Sure, size means power, but in the real world it also means steroids and overcompensation. 
Of the artists that could have influenced my own art when I was younger, Michael Whelan was the one to get it right. Now there were dragons–light and fleet of foot and wing–who looked like they didn’t need obscene amounts of magic to get their bodies off the ground.
